Okay, David, tach appears to work . . .

Got a battery this AM and installed same. Screen fired up - yahoo! Tach is also a clock, musta forgot about that feature, and I actually managed to set the time which is amazing since I am digital device challanged. My truck clocks were never right, and the only reason my new truck is on time is the salesman set the dang thing for when I picked it up.

    Come and get it!

      Tiny Tach

Just received a newTiny Tach, for testing
it is 20,000rpm and will record highest RPM
can be programed for 2 or 4 cycle
I can have made up with any length lead that is required
normaly 9' for hydro and 7' for runabouts. Also available with plug to add
      length or disconnect

To eliminate interferance with the ,(dirty)ignition system,Yamato
80 and 102 I changed to the 4 cycle model ,per factory instructions,
and used 3 wraps on both plug wires
I have used resistor spark plugs with good results.
I have waited 2+ years for this new tach and will post results
Same size as existing tach. Slow delivery for our length leads
I suggested standard 4' and coupling to speed up delivery.
