I am trying to decide where to go next weekend Rochelle or Zanesville. I was wondering if there will be any DMH in Rochelle. If so how many?? Does anyone know if you can fly into Zanesville??

Zanesville has a fine airport. I fly Citation jets and 10 passenger King Air's in/out everyday.......that's where I work. Two X 5000' runways with ILS, VOR and GPS approaches. We have a van there and a driver will deliver you to the race site. Zanesville Aviation is one of our $ 1,000 sponsors ! We'll be glad to take care of you. Mike Marshall, Raceboat 61-S

Jsr_Jsh?????
Does anyone know if there will be any at Zanesville this year? Might come down if there are enough to run. Justin is on a little league team that is picked to win state this year, might still be in the playoffs though.
I highly recommend Zanesville. What a gorgeous place. Rent a cabin if they have any left. You would swear you are not at a boat race, but on a weekend family retreat! (ie. your wife might enjoy herself for a change)
Sorry Rochelle people, would love to race with ya. Just too far for us. Plus with the price of gas!
I stopped by my local BP for a 'gas and go' the other day. I pumped $13.00 into my junker and stood there in amazement when I realized I only received 5.6 gallons. Geez!

Zanesville Update
Gents,
Sorry there is NO airline service to Zanesville. As another "hydroracer" noted, Columbus is the closest with regular scheduled service, Akron-Canton (CAK) is the next closest.
We should have some JH and JR boats. I hope Kyle Roskowski will run. I know he has been practicing.
I have the 'final' meeting with the Dillon State Park Manager and the Chief of Corps of Engineers at the lake on Monday morning. We'll iron out the last details of the pit area and discuss lake issues like water level, bouys, etc
I talked them into providing a Dempsey Dumpster down on the peninsula near the pits, 2 or more porta-johns, approval of a bon-fire on Saturday night, and 4 (only) motorhomes can stay on the beach overnight to provide security.
Rule # 1 remains: No Alcohol in the pits......not sure about the rest of the park?
Shelter house up on the hill was condemned by engineers after Spring Floods damaged buildings. All race related activities will be on the beach.
I have one (1) pontoon boat that will be available to be anchored for the turn judges. Am looking for another. Have one locally provided tow-boat lined up.
Don't forget on Sunday we will run Merc 20H's in the AMR "race-within-a-race" for $175 dollar purse !
More updates to follow. Mike Marshall, Raceboat 61-S, 740-745-2097 or cell 740-319-5040

It is the Divisionals for Mod
There will be be a lot of DMR and DMH's in Zanesville. I am hoping plenty of FER's as well, maybe some DMR's will step up and run who knows.
KEith, git that dang Yamaha fixed and git yer Rebel butt up here for some Yankee but kicking.
Macs were considering coming if Kev can get the time off.
Being the IOA is putting this on I think most of them will show up so we should have some full fields in most all classes.
I know of at least two J's coming, Gresley Kids will be there, JH.Dave Mason
