Carolina Virginia Racing Association (Region 4) charges $25.00 per day for the first class, $20.00 each additional class. All J Classes are $15 per class/per day

USTS charges 35.00 per class, KPH 15.00 and they race 2 heats Sat and 2 heats Sun.

The $35 USTS entry fee gets you three heats of racing for all the other classes !!!!

It varies

Three of the six races in Region 10 this season have had 90 - 100 entries per day. They each had different daily rate schedules:

$35-$20-$15; $15 for J

$40-$35-$30-$15; $25 for J & KPRO (one day race)

$40-$25-$15; $15 for under 17

The race this weekend will probably have a similar turnout:

$40-$25-$15; $20-$15-$10 for youth plan

The $40 rate is new for most races this year (up from $35).

Region 6

Region 6 races tend to be $25.00 per class per day in APBA. The J's get a good break similar to the other clubs.

MHRA's entry fee

MHRA (Michigan Hydroplane Racing Assoc.) has charged $25.00/class each day and $15.00/class for Js (JH and JR). We've done this for at least the last 6-8 years as I can recall.

It should also be noted that $2.00 from each entry goes to a Region 6 Year end point fund (Top Gun) awarded at the Region 6 Spring Banquet. All Region 6 SO races are required to pay towards this fund.

I also know that TRORA has recently increased their entrie fee to $27.00 for SO classes while MOD remains $25.00.

here in Reg12, we charge about TWICE, sometimes 3 times the amount that most other regions charge. Reason, we have a very low boat count and stuff is WAY EXPENSIVE in S.Cal. Consider the median price for a home in San Diego is now $600,00++.........time for me to move!
