Madison the Movie

Anyone hear anything about Madison recently? It's like it dropped off the radar completely. The reviews were poor, I only saw 2 thumbs up and a lot of mediocre reviews, even a couple of really bad ones. It doesn't look good for a national release, well at least the DVD should be out soon.

I tried looking to see if it was still playing in Seattle, since I'm planning a short trip there in a couple of weeks, and couldn't find a thing. Looks like I too will have to wait for DVD. Most of the negative reviews I saw were that this "type" of movie is all the same...the underdog sports figure that triumps in the end. Duh...isn't that what we want to see?! Guess they missed the rest of the story as well. Oh well, when it's out on DVD, it'll be in my library...along with the rest of those same "type" sports movies I have!!

Raw deal

I don't know how the movie industry works. But it drives me nuts to see all the movies advertized that I wouldn't walk across the street to see! Much less pay good money to sit thru! Yet, this movie wasn't even given a fair chance! Maybe the producer should have talked to Mel Gibson for some help.
Put me down for a couple DVD's when it comes out.

The movie must be schedualed for DVD shortly. It is already listed as a "Netflix" save selection. I subscribe to Netflix and will let you know on this website when it becomes available. For those who are not familiar with Netflix, it is an online DVD rental service that you pay a fixed monthly charge for, no matter how many movies you take out.
