    Thanks To Butch And The City Of Inverness

    WE WOULD LIKE TO THANK BUTCH KIDDY AND THE CITY OF INVERNESS AND PEACE RIVER OUTBOARD FOR A GREAT RACE AND GREAT WEEKEND!!!!!!! RACES STARTED ON TIME RAN FLAWLESSLY, FINISHED ON TIME AND WE WERE ON OUR WAY HOME, AFTER JUDGES STAND AND EQUIPTMENT TRAILER WAS LOADED AT 5:00 P.M. SUNDAY. IT WAS AN IDEAL RACE SITE, LOCATED IN THE MIDDLE OF TOWN IN A PARK WITH MANICURED GRASS PITS WITH THE ROOM FOR OVER 100 BOATS, HUNDREDS OF FRIENDLY SPECTATORS ALONG THE SHORES OF THE PARK AND OUTSIDE THE RACE COURSE IN THEIR DOZENS OF BOATS, NEWSPAPERS AND TV NEWS COVERAGE, FOOD VENDERS(OUTSTANDING FOOD AT A GREAT VALUE). AND ONCE AGAIN HALF OF OUR REGION BOAT RACERS WEREN'T THERE!!!!!!!!!! AS FOR ALL OF YOU THAT MISSED A NEW SPONSERED RACE SITE, SORRY ABOUT YOUR BAD LUCK . KEEP IT UP AND YOU'LL HAVE NO OTHER CHOICE BUT TO DRIVE THOUSANDS OF MILES TO RACE YOUR TOYS.

      We checked out the site on Sunday. Saw a lot of J class boats and maybe 6-8 capsules (two of them were pulling out of pits when I was there). How many ABC stock R & H's were there? I missed them. Apparently there was a noise restriction right? The mods were nowhere in sight! From what I saw on Sunday the turnout was really poor. I missed coming up there on Saturday so hopefully things were better.

          Nice to see

          It is nice to see that everyone had a great time Peace river has done a great job of running races and trying to find new race sites . I beleive if you build it they will come . I would like to put out a challange to all classes get a class sponsor $ 1,000.00 and a class rep . I will put something together to make it worth your while we need to work together to make racing in region 5 continue

          Racing fan , I am sorry that you would like to hear the noise of the mods we all miss it ,but times have change and the mods have not

            Yes Paul times have changed. But other regions are able to get sites for the Mods to run. We all want to support and be loyal to our local regions but we go where we can run. Who do I contact to offer some of my spare time? Have a great day!
