I know alot of people found out about my dads surgery. So for those of you who knew...He had the tumor removed as well as half of his thyroid. The surgery went well and the family got to see him for a few hours today. By the time we were ready to leave he was coherrent and seemed to be in good spirits. One of the first things he really saw was my grandpas pop from Wendys "Mmmm that pop looks good" was pretty much one of the first sentences that came out of his mouth, after he said that everyone knew he was going to be fine. He was even good enough to flip Brent "The Bird" before we left. Just letting everyone know that hes most likely to make a full recovery(hopefully). He was in pain it seemed like but nothing excruciating...

Tell your dad to get well quick. Dayton is just around the corner and 'wired' J dads like he and I are at a premium!! Val & I got a kick out of seeing you and Bill at Whitney Point, however curfew at Dayton will be 11pm (sharp)................Hope you guys enjoyed the DVD's on the way back and keep the little Tate in line till Dayton!!

I had the same type surgery 20 years ago and have half a thyroid left. Take thyroid pills and you are good to go. He will have a sore throat for a few days. Pls give him my regards.
