Mannford Ramp Race Cancelled (NBRA)
Because of high flows on the Arkansas River from 11-inch rains near Wichita, Kansas last week, Lake Keystone near Tulsa, Okla. is very very full.
The Mannford Chamber of Commerce and officials organizing the race at Mannford Ramp on Lake Keystone decided today to cancel the race--set for June 19 (next weekend) and reschedule it at a later date because of "high lake levels" (which means lots of floating debris etc.)
OBRA Secretary Ken Parks says "we'll keep you posted on a new date."
