    Helmet laws

    I haven't raced in years, and until I join the org, I don't have a rulebook, so I'll ask y'all. I have a brand new old 1991 Shoei X-8 full-face helmet, which some bike magazine thought was the best helmet that year. It has a Snell M-85 sticker. Is it acceptable by current APBA rules?

    Current rules reguire Snell 75, DOT or some Mil spec helmets

    M-85 is more than good

      It's gotta be painted day glow orange or yellow to be legal per APBA for stock or mod doesn't it?

        Yes, orange or yellow. Day Glo good, but I don't believe day glo is a requirement.
