Since Bill Pavlick's Rochelle, IL thread migrated over to the number of boats in 20SSH at Constantine, I thought I'd start a new one and let him have his back.
For those that aren't familiar with Great Lakes Challenge in Constantine, MI on June 18-19 your missing one of the best and most competitive races the Midwest has to offer. Typically 120-140 Stock Outboards with drivers from primarily from Region 6-7 (thus the "Great Lakes Challenge").
Great competition and I quote Donny Allen on this:
"Donny Allen, Chris Allen, Mike Pavlick, Dana Holt, Bill Pavlick, Tim Sidor, Jerry Brewster, Nate Forshey, Ed Harrington, Tad Olson, Joe Pater, Kevin Ladd (is he 4 or 4-M this weekend), Joel Wiegel, Ron Malot, Mark Miskerik, Deane Forshey, Joe Silvestri, Brian Palquist, Danny Keylard, Chris Algiers, Jason Hegg, Tom Johnston or his hired driver Brian Trolian, Charlie Pater, Nate Bowers, Dean Sutherland …"
...and this is just one class (not too shabby)! Anyway, this is a great venue for racing and the American Legion post treats us really well. There will be the typical breakfast served by the Legion and they will have Hot Dogs and Burgers on the grill for lunch and throughout the afternoon with the typical Drivers dinner on Saturday evening where medals will be passed out for the top 3 in each class.
All Stock and J classes, OSY400, DMH and FEH will be run both days. So if you haven't ever been to Constantine, hook that trailer up to the tow vehicle and take part in some of the best racing in the country.
