  • Racing T-Shirts!!

    Quick question!

If you saw a really cool racing t-shirt for sale that you must have in your collection/closet, what size would you buy? Trying to get a feel for how big the average racer/crew is so I can pick what percentages of t-shirt sizes to get made.

Answer the poll, Thanks for your help!

Question: how important is Amsoil in your program? Benefits? Which version?

Thanks for the shirt info people!! Keep it coming if you haven't already voted!

Amsoil... well very important in my program My father sells it in his shop and is the the local dealer... so it's all supplied to me gratis through him. LOL.

But in all honestly, we only became a dealer after years of use, we have lots of history with it and if I needed too, I'd buy it.

I don't want to start an oil debate so please people don't do it in my thread... those get nasty... but our favourite story is this one: About 1992 I was racing BSH with a Merc 20 in Dunnville Ontario... I hit a stump on Saturday and bent the prop, needed to pull the whole assembly out the gear case to get it off. This was done in a local farmers barn on saturday night. Sunday we were ready to go... However I forgot to check for water and it turned out we put the water pump 180 degrees off. It ran for about 3-4 minutes and quit. I looked back and saw plugs hanging out the back and said every curse word I could think of for forgetting to tighten he plugs... Once towed back to shore I realized what actually happen. The pump didn't work, the motor got so hot the threads of the block melted and blew both of them right out the motor still on the plugs... the cylinders were fine, rings pretty good and with recoiling could be used again. The oil worked great. Maybe any synthetic would have dont that... but since then we've never used anything but Amsoil... I use it in all my cars, motorcycles and motorhomes too. Great stuff in my book.

Currently using the Dominator oil (the red stuff)
