Lake Sule in Rochelle, IL shows up very nicely on www.terraserver.com. As you can see by the scale, it is as wide as Dayton, and about 150 yds shorter than the east end of Dayton where we race. In other words there is plenty of water for a very good sized course, and yet it is not too big and is less prone to wind. Plus we have complete control over the lake both days.

Some of you may have received a flyer in the mail for one fo the local hotels, just 5 minutes from the lake. Please consider using the hotel or others in the area and mention that you are there for the races.

Rochelle is a decent sized town and it is also only 20 minutes west of Dekalb, a college town. Just in case you want to futher your "education"

MRC is currently working out the prize money schedule, I will post it as soon as it is available.
