Curious if Nightmoves made it down to debut the 500CCR? If so how did it go?

Lakeland - Wind
It's Sunday night and my laundry is already going after the 7 hour ride home. Some racing on Saturday. Do not know the results. OK field of boats. 2 accidents, but only some bumps and bruises. Tahnks to Central Florida Racing and the City of Lakeland for hosting us. We just cannot get a break from the wind at this place. Good testing Friday at Banana Lake. Water was too flat for most of the day.David Weaver

David, you run the surfboard?I always thought growing up would be cool, I was wrong!
The other day GG laughed at me because I take more pills a day than she does....

Originally posted by David WeaverYeah, finished both heats on Saturday. It was a good ride. Looking forward to trying it in more moderate swells at Omaha.
Sorry to hear that Doug Mc. broke his leg. Nice guy, hope he recovers quickly.
It might have been cold, but at least it was windy to make up for it. I think it was the first time I've worn my kevlars just to stay warm.

Doug,
Sorry to hear about your mishap, a broken leg is very painful. Hope your recovery goes well. I myself am just getting over a hernia operation, not a fun thing. Recently at a race you said to someone I was responsible for getting you into boat racing. Perhaps now you wont be thanking me.
Get well soon,

My leg is feeling much better. I can walk/hobble around. I hope to be able to walk fully within the next 6 to 7 days. As opposed to a cast, the doctor put a Thrombo Embolic Deterrent/compression stocking on my leg since my leg is fractured and the bone did not break completely. He also wants me up and walking, hobbling if I must, as opposed to using crutches. He said this will stop my muscles from weaking too much.
Below are some photos from photos by joe. I will be ordering some from him in the next few days.
