Jan Rinker passed away a couple of weeks ago. He had been battling cancer for quite a while. He and brother John were busy working on new projects. Both are over 70 years old. May he rest in peace. Ed Hearn.

Jan Rinker's Passing
I too share your blessings of the Rinker family. As a kid growing up in Dayton, Ohio. I have fond memories of racing against both Jan and John in the late 40' and 50s. I got to visit with John a couple of years ago at an OPC race at Buckeye Lake, Ohio and we shared a lot of old memories. As I too become a member of the old gang, these losses take on added meaning. The light at the end of the tunnel is in fact a very fast moving freight train! God bless the Rinker family.
