Here is a pic of an ASH under construction. Target weight of 75-80lbs. This boat will have a Canadian number on it. Also a pic of another FEH under construction.

As soon as the ice goes out, I will be testing the ASH.

David. The FEH is another laydown. 92" wheelbase.

My Johnson GT10 matches the boat perfectly. The boat came in at 65lbs, 10lbs less than I wanted.

I will be testing the boat first just to figure out a workable setup. I think Emily will have to take here younger brother along for ballast. New class, 2 person ASH.

ya a lot of lead will be in there, but at least she and her dad can put it almost anywhere. those pickles are pretty long, are they special for the rookie driver?

                  Longer is Better...... hehehe

They are for coming up to the back of another boat and tapping them for the spin, or as we say in boats flip, without themselves going over backwards from the roostertail !!

no, the sponsons are not really long, the boat is only 9'oal. The body is short.

                        Wheelbase???

Don't know how wheelbase got started but what they really mean is the distance from the back of the sponson to the back of the boat. I have always heard and called this the afterplane.
