Boy I had some nasty pages come up the last two days. When I tried this site. Glad to see the site is up and running again.

I was bummed to see the site down and glad I was a registered user. (And that you have a backup!)

I spent several hours trying to understand who, what, why, the attack. (I'm a little technical myself don't ya know) Not the first time I have seen this one. Best I can find is that a handfull of sites got nailed, all of them yesterday, but very few trails to follow.

Very Nice recovery!

FYI to new PC users... Just a tip for those who might not know.

It is possible that a PC that is not patched or has no, or old Antivirus, can be used by the bad guys as a "Robot" to attack this or other sites.

It is very important to patch your windows and update the anti-virus weekly and scan weekly. This helps protect you and others as well.

Congrats on recovering the site. I hope they are able to nail the b***ard. I challange everyone to contribute some $$$$ to the site to help Dan with the financial hit I am sure he took trying to recover the site. A little bit from everyone will go a long way.

Hey Mike I did get your donation thanks a million! sorry if my post are a bit short and I sound cranky but its been a tough week trying to keep this thing in one piece. No we did not win the war by any means and the attack was a very serious threat and still continues to be one. The site will remain in under cover mode for several months while we try to track down these folks.

Dan, I am not getting the notification emails that Leeann is getting. Mike Mentzer is not getting them either. I'd guess some part of the early registration group is lost, I'm pretty sure Mike and I both signed up very early in the history of hydroracer.net
