Agree Matt I love the scene where the guy has a GoPro on a stick as they come around the turn. Looks like fun to the max! tshirt, shorts, tennis shoes what a rush. Plus you can take a friend along for the race what a blast! girlfriend, kid, wife this is pure 100% unadulterated fun! Pick up a motor and gas tank anywhere.

Dan, thank you for posting that video. That's racing I might consider since retiring from the sport out of frustration. It beats dealing with too many classes with too many rules and a restructuring format based on an engine with a cross scavenged design from the fifties!

It looks a lot like SLT racing, or Zapcats as they're called in Europe.
You can't get much more "stock outboard" than SLT Bandit class. Which by the way, hasn't really taken off here in the U.S.

I think some people just love boats, like going fast, but don't have $10,000.00
to spend on a hobby. Just like it used be up until about 1975 when it started going downhill due to expenses.
