FREE boat for Driving School or for a Rookie
Marine Racing Club is donating a 20ssH/CSH/302ssH to be used in a Driving School, or given to a Rookie to race for a year.

Thanks to the generosity of a lot of local racers, in addition to Gueedo and Montana Mike, we now have an extra Yamato size boat for our Driving School. The boat is an older Sorensen, but does work well. It needs some work, but it's mostly fixing up minor cracks. It's currently located in Antioch, IL.

Our hope is that it can be used in a Driving School or given to a Rookie. The idea would be to let the Rookie race it for a year, and then they can pass it along to get someone else started.

I had made an offer to donate the 2005 Sorensen C hydro to MRC. For there driving school. Was well over year ago.

Mike, He is still interested in getting the boat. He is going to be at Grass Lake in 2 weeks. Do you know anyone from your area that is going that might be able to bring it there for him?
