Records

We had awesome weather....maybe high 70's with little or no wind, especially in the afternoon when I ran. 27 or 28 entries, some from the east coast, a few K boats, 500 hydros, 350 runaboats, D mod hydros, a 5 litre, a 2.5 stock, D stock hydros and runaboats, OSY, you name it. You could really not see the boats from the pits, but you could hear them, especially on the northbound run. Darren set the D hydro record at 84.2 (quarter mile) and there was a sport C record set..not sure of the speed. I ran 84.8 one way thru the traps (same as Darren) but hit some patrol boat rollers and had to back off on my return run. I have since cleaned the pee out of my pants and am now in Redding in my hotel room. Whew. Congrads to Darren though....
