  • JESEL Sidewinder Production Update

With all of the recent discussion about the Sidewinder engine we would like to provide an update with regards to the production. On November 4th, 2013 Racing Outboards LLC. Partnered with us here at JESEL Valvetrain. The components of the 15 Sidewinder along with the 20 Sidewinder are now in our system as production parts which enables us to put a work order in, and have finished parts ready to send out for heat treating within hours. We took a few photos of the production of the crank shafts, which we currently have twenty four of in stock, along with the machining of the tower housings, which we currently have ten in stock. This should give everyone a good idea of our capabilities with regards to producing the Sidewinder engine. We plan on putting our full support behind Racing Outboards to ensure its future success. Stay posted for more exciting news in the future.

That is the way to build a quality product. Hopefully we will see a few of these engines over at NBRA races, this season. As Tech VP for NBRA I fully endorse what they are trying to do. If we at NBRA can be of assistance, please let us know.

I read somewhere that once the NHRA and NASCAR teams heard that Jesel was now associated with APBA Stock Outboard, they were very impressed. I'm not surprised

Stock Outboard is all about a level playing field.

True parity is one motor per class.

It's RACING, not just another boat ride!

NOT a representative of Racing Outboards LLC.

I searched the internet and can't find this story. Maybe you could post a link?
Jessel IS top shelf, we use their components on all high end BBC marine builds.

Can somebody get some photos posted here of another company that make racing engines only for APBA and only for racing?
