Lake Buhlow - Pineville, LA (for the long time racers)

I really can not wait for the road/bridge construction to be finished near the lake. I drive by it everyday going to and coming from work. Should be pretty cool to race on with the road being so close to the lake now. Got a taste of it during a test weekend we had back in April and it was interesting to be in the first turn area and look over to your right and see vehicles a lot closer than what they seemed before. I also stopped by the lake last week just to sort of check the condition of the judges stand and what not. It was freshened up in April after some folks had destroyed the steps on it. It's still holding together very nicely and they have even come in and built a nice little "L" shaped dock around the perimeter of the judges stand itself. It leads out along the left side of the judges stand and wraps around in front of it and extends a bit out beyond the right side of it. It looks really cool and might prove to make an easier area to set up the start clocks. Hope we will find ourselves racing on this masterpiece of a race site at some point next season.
