From time to time I watch for something to happen on the AOF site in the way of races scheduled for the area covered by APBA Reg. 10. As I recall it from long ago, some racers in the eastern Washington and Idaho area started running AOF races out of some dissatisfaction or other with APBA. IIRC, one reason was to provide a place for 500/700/1100 Hydro owners to run their old non-capsule outfits. Maybe all those original guys have got old or croaked (names I remember were various Pringles, Dennis Westby, Roy Heagy, a couple named Haskett, . . ). Anybody know the current status of that operation? The website hasn't been updated in many months, and the list of officers is from 2012.
