  • Robert VanOver

Bob VanOver, one of boat racing’s greatest friends and a great friend of boat racers for the past 60 years quietly passed this morning. His companionship in the pits will be missed. Prayers go out to the VanOver family. We will post arrangement plans when they are completed.

                        so sorry

Eric and family, cannot express my thoughts and sorrow for your loss, without remembering your Dad as a fierce competitor and with a smile that could light up the world. I have fond memories of racing with him and our many friends.

Today I can't help but smile, thinking about a great reunion for your Dad. We are celebrating the birth of the Savior at this time, because of that great event an Easter Morn, many years ago. May you know our thoughts and prayers are with you all.

                        Ray

Eric, I'm so sorry to hear of your Dad's passing. I've been concerned since visiting with him at last years races. My most sincere condolances. It kind of hits you when you are now the senior family member and drives home that we are not immortal. Jack
