  • Tohatsu raffle

The SORC has decided to raffle off the second D stock Tohatsu motor. This thing is brand new, sitting in a shipping crate in my shop in Kirkland. And no thanx to Kyle Bahl I have been put in charge of selling the tickets. (Thanx Ugh) Raffle tickets will be available at national meeting in Reno. Twenty bucks a pop. Buy one or a few and put me out of my misery. Dave

    Playing to competencies

It was either putting you on selling tickets or running the jigsaw. And we all know how THAT turned out last time....

            Tohatsu raffle

Tickets will be first available at Reno....I think the plan will be to give unsold tickets to commissioners to sell back in region.

                Tickets

I have a call into Jeff Brewster....his wife handled ticket sales last year. At this point I don't see any reason why I can't take pre sale orders for tickets before Reno....I will find out for sure though. Dave

                    Bar bill

Ha. You are going to loose all your money playing blackjack and then come whining to me to borrow money to buy some of that weak assed beer you drink.

                        Tohatsu raffle update

Here is what I am going to do for the raffle. Tickets will be $25 each, or 5 for $100. You can send me either a check, money order, or a cashier's check made out to APBA. DO NOT SEND CASH!!!!!!!. My mailbox is not secured and I do not want to be responsible for cash coming in the mail. I should have raffle tickets in a few days....along with your money include a self addressed stamped envelope. I will bring whatever tickets are left to the national meeting to sell them there and to distribute them to commissioners. One more thing....anybody can buy tickets....but you have to be a racing member to accept motor! This is an EPA rule...we need to be careful with this. My address is 18 19th ave Kirkland Washington 98033. Do not put a hyphen between the 18 and the 19....for whatever reason the post office will not deliver it. Any questions shoot me an e mail or ask them here. Good luck!

Just another suggestion being I have done a few raffles over the internet. Video the ticket draw of the winner so everybody sees it. Not saying anybody would cheat somebody out, just good to have.

Can you be a NBRA or AOF racing member? Or just APBA member only? Sorry if this was already covered but, I am in a hurry to leave town......

                              Raffle

I would honestly prefer that the motor go to an APBA member....they are the people that put up the money to buy these motors. But the EPA does not stipulate what racing group you belong to. You are welcome to buy as many tickets as you wish. Dave
