have you ever attended an APBA National Convention????? Before you start poking jabs at APBA over the fee............attend one and see what all goes into making it happen.....the awards banquet enough is worth the $$$.....

APBA is not a huge money making organization......and putting on a convention like this definately is not free.....

PS: there has always been a fee for as long as I have been attending them and don't have a problem paying $100 to support the racing organization I enjoy.......especially in RENO!!

Yeah these cost money. YOUR Commissioners pay this out of their own pockets (don't forget about hotel and plane tickets!). So before anyone takes a jab at what your commission is doing, realize we all go to these things on our own dime.

We all need to remember the meaning to member run. That means we (the members) have to pay to for these type of convention style meetings.

For a learning moment. I would encourage anyone/everyone to attend this meeting and/or future meetings. Members being there in the crowd of the commission meetings can be powerful. You will/can have a word/say what your commission is doing. Plus you get the inside scoop on insurance, scoring, new motors coming out, finances (to name a few) and social hour is pretty good too!

Take an interest in the organization you pay dues to.
