  • Filler block silicon?

I am starting the rebuild of a mod engine. When I took it apart it had an orange silicon material between filler block and block. Curious what type of material people are using to secure/provide a buffer between the ports and filler block. I assume it has to be pretty heat resistant. I'm just not familiar with the silicon types. Or are people using something entirely different now? I appreciate any pointers.

    Thanks.

The silicon material is a high temp formula with copper in it. I use the Permatex version of it.

You can find it any auto parts store.
