Stillwill establishes the A Mod Hydro record........speed not yet posted.
25ssh..........Brewster up's the previous record of Allen's by .1 mph
You are a good man Captain!
The point I was wanting to get across in my previous post, is not everyone takes or even wants to read the New York Times for example. Those who try to drive someone to a certain place for information, only limit the dissemination of that information, especially when done for obvious reasons.
I would think that any one with a position of responsibility with a racing organization by any name would want as broad coverage as possible, and not try to make that receipt of information more difficult, but that's just me.
It is very obvious that HR is the web site most in the sport go to, at this time, for a variety of reasons. If some of that pile of money had been spent to make the APBA site more visually exciting and easier to navigate, then perhaps it might do better. But again that is just my opinion, one I think a great many have at this point in time about the APBA site at it's point in time. When you try to drive someone to do something it causes resentment, especially when comments are made that HR seems to be easier to navigate, get to and post on from a portable device.
Just goes to show that money can't buy everything, and didn't, at least at present.
One hears very little about the 1/4 mile records. Nice to see some folks changing up the oval. Can anyone confirm if the records set were using a oval comp. boat or were some a special built rig for straight away records ?
25SSh sounds like a fast speed ! Those things can race in CMH !!!
Ed H - Funny, you finally dropped to my level with your post at the beggining of this thread. Almost like we are on equal ground now... (sticks & stones)

Dave,
1/4 mile records are suppose to be set using a competition set/up.

All records were set using competition boats and setups.
