250R - Jim Price

Does anyone have information about Jim Price? This photo was taken at the Sammamish Slough many years ago. He suffered from a stroke a few years back and passed last week. I'd like to get more information about him and his racing for his family.

Russ Rotzler told me about Jim's passing about a week ago. Jim had been in hospital about a week with pneumonia. He and Russ had been working up some J/AX/A Runabouts for Jim's kids, but Russ was some distance out in Oregon and that plus time was holding things back.

The photo you added was one of Bob Carver's, and was taken at a race at the South end of Lake Sammish (below Bellingham, near I-5 exit 242). Here's another of Jim and Russ testing at the Redmond end of Lake Samammish in early 1960...It's a little fuzzy and speckled, but when I get a minute I'll fix what I can with a bit of restoration.
