Stockers and mods from both sides of the border take note: Crystal Lake is a go for Sept 14 and 15. Come early and we'll arrange "private testing" if you wish. We live here,afterall, and can provide chase boats,etc. Don't forget JKs Roadhouse has clean,comfortable,inexpensive rooms and a good/fun restaurant. let us know what we can do to inspire you to show up !

JKs Roadhouse Motel and restaurant phone number is 315-482-4600. They don't have a lot of rooms. MANY at several locations in Alex Bay will be available at higher rates. It will be after the "season" so you won't need reservations.

Have all of you seen Bill Keegan's performance in 750 Mod Hydro at the nationals? 750mod is, afterall, a spinoff of D-Hydro.

Bill's performance was incredible (maybe for Bill it was just routine..?). He put himself out front and never looked back. The only thing I regret about the nationals this year is not being able to applaud when Bill received the trophy for winning D-Mod Hydro.

So, I hope to see father and son at Crystal Lake on the 14th & 15th of Sept.

Crystal lake

for the benefit of Skip from Long island, and others who may not have been to Crystal Lake, be advised this is a private lake totally dedicated to our event. The pits can get a bit crowded, but the access to the water is good enough and features a gentle sandy beach. The course is always a bit less than a mile around...one turn being a bit tight and one being on the wide side so that there is something for every driving style. We traditionally get a pretty good turn out of the "poppers' for both runabout and hydro, ( which I'll never understand since that racket they make is not pretty).

There are good restaurants and accomodations galore to fit every budget. Alexandria Bay and the 1000 Islands should be experienced by everyone.
