Is FEH dead how many true FEH's OMC or 6 hole Merc. are there on the east coast and Midwest ? The only ones I can think of is Hunter 2 ea. Hay and Robb. The reason I ask is I have a FEH ready to go if I run it Jimmy Warren will drive it ( he also drives my 500H ) It just does not seem worth it if there are not more of them.

      Midwest

NBRA has 8-10 at most races all in the Midwest.

I intend to try to make a full season in 2015. I hope there to be solid fields like there was in 2010 (the last season that I raced).

I Hope the class picks up...APBA High Points there are only 18 in the country that have run, 15 with points. I know 4 of them are DMH's that stepped up. As for a MERC 6 cylinder? I have not seen one run in over 15 years in the North East. I did see one run out midwest a couple of years ago on you tube

                    It's Dead

                    Danny,

The class got very expensive to compete in within APBA. The rules were tweaked somehow and now there are some pretty exotic beasts that cost a ton of money to create. And to beat them, you must spend the big dollar. I chose a different path and it is working out. It is still the same old FEH class in other areas.... Less than a grand and you are competitive with a powerhead type of class. Just like the good old days my friend. If you look at the rules Dad and Harry Brinkman created for the class on its inception into the Mod Category, you will see what it is in NBRA. And it is a large class at any event. Simple, cheap and fun as hell.

Maybe "Dead" is a strong term, and I apologize for using it. "It is a weak boat count class" might have been a better choice.

I believe we had 5 or 6 at the APBA nationals and 2 were DMH's.
