Rookie driver Sam Larocca SE Hyd. the king of SE Hyd Lyle Mason Some really tough racing with large fields of boats in the C D E SE classes. Great weather & water conditions. Big thanks are due Alan Owens. Just a fantastic race. Jeff Lake was our referee and all the ladies on the judges stand ran a fast paced program. Great job!

Another NBRA great race

Alan Owen did another outstanding job with the NBRA long course nationals. I want to thank all that worked so hard to make this a great event. Also like to thank the folks in Centralia for hosting us and allowing us to use this splendid lake. It truly is a great place to race.

A long time ago a wise old boat racer told me the secret to winning boat races is to "start out front and keep extending your lead!" Looks like you got half of it figured out.

A big thanks for all of the support from the drivers and crews, I have had nothing but compliments so far and everyone's asking about next years race. We by far had the largest turn out in the 10 years of both drivers and spectators. The ESDA crew said they were down to two or three places to park on Sunday. The City parks director said we need more property and I said we really need a new race director!! Alan V-25

Sorry I couldn't make it. Congrats to all the new champs. Especially Marty Thayer Jr. (Can you say repeat?) Maybe I will build a Mercury powered C-mod Runabout? On second thought, I witnessed Miller's Yamato in action, reminded me of Terry Witham with his Merc years ago. Didnt matter where he started, it was the same result at the end....I'm afraid It's going to take a "large" miracle to take that one down with a merc.........
