  • BSR Dimensions ... class growth

What are the preferred dimensions for a B Stock Runabout ... length, width etc.

Any projections as to whether or not the BSR class will show any substantial growth with the introduction of new Hot Rod engines ... or will they be too expensive.

Still no side fins allowed in BSR ... correct?

Your two cents worth ... anyone ... in your opinion who builds the best performing stock runabout??

10 ft boat. I believe they measure from bottom edge to tip of nose upsidedown and it can't be shorter the 9ft 6 inches. If you mesure from the top of the transom to the tip, the boat should be 10ft. Be carefull as some of the A boats that have the transome moved in have been known to be to short. 30 inch bottoms plus or minus a couple inches. The current boat that seems to dominate is the fiberglass Racecraft built by Bob Trolian. There are also several other boat builders that have equally good runabouts. Sorenson Jackel, Runne Craft, Broccoli Brand, Bennett, Zorkin, McCortie, Brain Wave. these are the ones that come to mind quickly and I'm sure I forgot someone. In reguards to the motors. I think we should no more after Atlanta this weekend on availability and price. So far I haven't seen any new motor prices that I would call to high priced. Even the new D motor price seem,s in line. If you look at any other racing sport from Motor cycles, Jet ski's, Snowmobiles, or even pedal Bikes our sport is probably the cheapest one to get going in. My 2 cents worth!!! hope it helps!!! Mike

      B-Runanbout

Count me in for another B-Runabout, and you can leave the chicken fins at home. Roll it up or roll it back on the trailer.
