    Hope to CU there!

Good luck to all this weekend in the world's greatest boat race! You have no idea how bad I want to be there. Looks like this year will be just like last year. I will be at work on Saturday thinking of you and envisioning Don Voisin dropping the flag at noon. Hope to see you all next year !?!

Team Ross and Alkama will be bringing our racing partners from Equador up. They have the winner of the Gauyaquil race 2013 Felipe Adell ( Mechanic) and a father son team Ruben Guerrero Sr and Jr. Would like to thank Josh Pearson for suppling the CSR for Ruben Sr and Mike Affolter, Greg Alkama and Brian Lauer for the combined ASR equipment for Ruben JR to run. This is a great time for all. The Equadorians have treated Josh the same way when he went to Equador with some royal treatment. Make sure you come down and shake there hands and thank them for coming so far to have fun at the greatest race as Jeff Brewster stated!!!.

We wish you were here too. Out at Kamp, sitting around the fire, talking about shooting stars. Thinking about you.

                    Top O Turns 65 Bash

...the thru-canada "shortcut" was a bust, but new hampshire entry made it. currently overlooking cheboygan river which is hydro flat and crystal clear. local rec boaters report eagles circling west bank of burt lake. asked them if they were disappointed about midday river closings for races...to which they emphatically replied, NO WAY!!!! THATS WHY WE ARE HERE AND THATS WHY HOTELS & CAMPGROUNDS ARE FULL, THIS IS WHAT WE'VE BEEN WAITING FOR since last year!!!

THE REGION IS JACKED FOR RUNABOUTS!

...google CheboyganNews.com for today's front page blurb and sports-page followup.
