Trout Creek Regatta

In just a little over one month the Trout Creek Regatta will take place for the 5th year in a row and it is one you don't want to miss.. The folks love to have us come for our annual visit and really roll out the carpet.. Last year ever restaurant and bar had free meals so you had to pace yourself.. We had some great races and folks had a monster party each evening.. If you have not made reservations don't wait any longer.. We have in our possession $1500 in tow money so you basically race for nothing.. The mornings will be cool since we are at 2400 feet but it will be HOT by the afternoon.

Some spectacular racing there last year. And great food! Hope to see lot's of people from the East and the West at this one.

These are the two places to make reservations.. They are a very short walking distance to the park and boat launch pit area.. Testing will be form noon to 6 if needed on Friday August 23.. Racing will be Saturday and Sunday from noon to about 4 I would guess.. Boat show Friday after testing at the Lakeside.. For the mod guys they were hoping for a flame throwing contest once it gets darker Friday night.. Live band Saturday at the Naughty Pine.

I hate to say it but depending on boat turn out for this year the decision for a 6 annual race will be determined. So come and have fun..

Sean if you can be here by Friday morning we may have to set it ourselves since Jimmy had to use a bunch of vacation due to his dad passing.. We just need to set it a little closer to shore this year

Well it is now just three days till the race.. If boat turnout is slim it will probably be our last race in Montana so hope to see a few folks.. Weather is to be around 85 during the days with lows around 55.
