Anyway a great play by play once again. The generosity of all those racers and pit guys is so rewarding to read about. Ya can't make this sheet up.

What a great read! And props (pun intended) to the US A Team for slugging it out through all the difficulties and finishing proud. It's the way people handle themselves through this sort of hardship and circumstance that really speaks volumes about their character. Very well done! Maybe they can get a leg up next year by making test runs on some high-elevation lakes. There are plenty to be found in Colorado and the Northwest. At the earliest release of the location of next year's competition, there should be any number of Stateside lakes to be found at the same or similar elevation that can be considered for testing.
