What is up? Moses Lake moves to Soap Lake

Just saw a post on Facebook that the September Moses Lake race is being moved back a week and is now at Soap Lake.. We might be able to come now if our motors will run.. Just curious as to why the change? I like it. Does anyone have more info as to camping and pit area?

we moved it to due to issues with the Moses Lake irrigation district new tough guidlines (for Connelly Park) ..........we also changed the date to not conflict with the Inboard Summer Nationals at Spanaway.....so that the inboarders with J racers (lots of them now), can come race with us....

Jan Shaw contacted APBA and we have the date reserved on a tenative basis. Paperwork should be officially done sometime next week. JW and I are going to head over there and scout everything out....pits, hotels, etc. Much more to come!
