There will only be camping in the camp grounds this year, NO camping in the field where the Drag boats used to go in. More info will be coming out soon. I will post contact info when I get it.

I am planning to be in the area around the time of this race, I'd may as well bring my boat and make it a big deal.
I can't imagine being able to keep up with the FER's, but I'm just doing this for fun anyway. :-)
I hope to see you guys there!

Wayne,
Did you have a "Depends" moment in OSY at Standish??? As to me taking the year off, well, I have been away to many years already.
The flight surgeon has returned DMR 38A to the flight line. I really need the test day as I have a new 1 tooth under lower unit to try as well as a bunch of props. I even bought one of those new fangled electric starters so i don't scare launching help away yanking on a Mod motor.
Jeff,
By all means bring your rig, it's a nice race site, not too long of a course with plenty of room in the turns. As to running against the Formula E guys, Well you have got a fair chance of a podium finish if you don't jump the gun!!! I have been away for a while but have kept book on my classes, A few of them seem to jump the gun sometimes especially as close the 850s run up here.
Add to your gear list a fire estinguisher as each trailer needs one per park rules. Ya it sometimes gets real hot at Thompson.
PeteDon't laugh.....it's borrowed!!

We should have Forino, Akerstrom,Babcock and our visiting friend from out west for DMR. I will make a call to see if Eric Horn and George Luce x2 will be there. If you wanna get more bang for your buck the 850 guys always welcome us to race with them. This is one of the premier race sites in the Northeast and the Army Corp of Engineers always welcome us with open arms. Race course and pit area top notch and this tradition of racing here has been carried on for decades. You haven't lived till you race at Thompson Ct. Test day on Friday is great considering its hard to test a DMR anywhere these days. As you can tell my favorite race and pumped up weeks in advance.
