  • Pro One Quarter Mile Record

Pro APBA Ballots need to be post marked by March 29th so naturally I am just now looking at the proposed rule changes. As I understand it, Stock classes do not have to run their set-up limitations when it comes to Kilo records. So to get around this, they thought a One Quarter Mile Record where you have to run a “competitive” set-up was a good idea.

My question is where does Pro come in to play? We do not have limitations for competitive or straight away set-ups. Wont a Pro Kilo record be the exact same as a One Quarter Mile record (if all conditions remain the same)? So what am I missing?

I am not trying to start anything, just want to vote informatively.

    Thanks,

    A Kilo is 3280.8 feet.
    A 1/4 mile is 1320 feet.
Unless the Kilo run also had a 1/4 mile point and recorded there isn't a record.
Make it easy on yourself, run with the US Title Series this year each course is a record run.
