All I'm saying is that in 9 years when my kid starts racing J, I hope it is with a Sidewinder. With a starter.

How many active A rigs are there in the country? 19 Sidewinders out there already sounds like a great start. What is the delivery time if I were to order one tomorrow?

Ohhh man.... we gotta fix this s--t right now! All those "C" boats... somebody needs to tell those morons that they need to junk that OMC engine right now and sell the gearfoots to all the future J drivers who are buying the Merc 15's.

I mean, this here is the Winternationals! Did something strange happen at the CA border where all the other Region A boats were prevented from entering the Mutha Load Land?

Somebody needs to get the word out that the OMC A engine is obsolete. Talk to yer local politician and explain that until we get a subsidy to pay all the OMC owners to retire those freaking antiques, that the OMC owners are going to continue to run them.

Somebody give Senator Kerry a call huh!! i mean, if we (you and me taxpayers) can have 6 million of our bucks given to Egypt for their bra-removal initiative..... we can certainly afford to help our A boats.

Interesting HARD DATA from Bakersfield.............looks like the 84-C Sidewinder and 84-C OMC ran basically the same lap times. Actually if the water was 'calmer' on Saturday as was indicated by Commissioner Bahl then the OMC actually may have been a tick faster in final analysis.

Before the Sidewinder got dropped to 1 3/4" it would have been nice to have test data gathered to see the effect this will have.........at Tabor City in 3 weeks Team Stillwill will be doing just that. Hopefully that info will be analyzied by the Parity Committee to help make informed decisions in the future??

Thank you Mike, you are correct. I also believe in the freedom of speech. (including our trailer box protectors) When we have members insulting each other, that is when a thread needs pulled in my opinion. It is detrimental to our racing family and our sport.

I apologize to Mr. Price. I did not intend to pull it down while anyone was reading the mudslinging.

Did the 84-C really run a sidewinder on Saturday and an OMC on Sunday? How can the first heat time be 2.14.81 and the second heat be 3.28.71? That is a lot of difference or a misprint.
