Need Tohatsu D powerhead

Ha ha...well...I have one of the motors in a crate in my shop. I don't think the SORC would like it much if I all of a sudden put the thing on the back of my hydro. Just not sure at this point of my block is going to be ring clearance wise when I take it apart. Might just need a block,,,,the rest of it is fine. Dave

From what I understand the block and crank assembly for the 40 and 50 horse are the same...the front cover and reed assemblies are different. Dave

Yes I have decided to sell some of the parts out that will hopefully keep racers going before I take it all to the scrap yard.
Are you interested in the boat and motor or just the motor??

Empty Block, Brand new - includes the cylinder block and the crankcase cover: $1179
Inlet Manifold for the 50hp, brand new: $69.
Short Block, Brand new - includes intake, reed blocks, ex cover, cyl head w/cover & T-stat, crank & pistons: $1936 (freight for this box is usually 75-95 bucks)

I usually have all this stuff on hand right here at the Aero Marine on the banks of the frozen Kennebec river.
