hi, new guy here.. i would like some help trying to identifying the make of a small wooden hydroplane that has been in our family since the mid to late 60's. it has been in good storage since 1975... it had a 16hp scott/at/water out board.. it no longer has the out board motor.. i hope to find out the make and maybe the year of this hydro racer... also the value . i can get my kid to take some pics over the the week end , i can send them to someones email, hope some one can pm me and they could post them. what other things should i look for?? thanks flem...

Posting pics
If you have the pics in jpeg format and each pic is 1mb or less then they can easily be posted here. If you have the pics on your computer then just start by posting here then at the bottom of the screen that opens up you will see a wide button that says "manage attachments" press it. To attach the pics press 1 of 6 brouse buttons and search your computer for the pics then press Upload button to insert. Repeat up to 6 times. If you need to post more than 6 just do another post and attach 6 more and so on.
We love to look at pics and ID the images, here on HR there are many with lots of past experience that can"Keep Move'n" life is catching up!

It looks to be A or B sized, fun is valuable.., money depends. Many types were made, those that have history, were made by a top builder or made high marks racing could be. Those made for fun are usually not very valued unless in like new shape. I don't know for sure but it looks kinda like a kit or bought plan boat. Its hard to tell what shape its in, just needs cleaning?, or some repair? I'd guess Glen L design, hope someone can tell you more. Good LuckTeam Tower
