Not going to renew, too much money for what you get in return. Maybe "Crown" can shed some light to this.....Bob

Just curious, And by no means am I trying to stir the pot, but does the $25 extra 'crown fee' or 'technology fee' your motivation for not renewing?

A 'super license' was already $220 a few years ago and now it's $245(before Feb anyway). Is that mark up a big deal to most follks? Really asking a serious question? You can PM me your answer if you like. Thanks.

                Not just the money

Kyle, I feel the same way . Added cost is a factor, but the attitude of taking away the Benifits , Rule book , propeller, blaming everything on "INSURANCE COSTS " and The $ 8000.00 That is paid to CROWN every month. For What ? I have a new stock boat that I have to cut up and screw up a $700 wrap job and its never been wet. I will run My Grandfathered 125 PRO boat at the USTS - NBRA events. Shawn

Good News is that the Super Category license (i.e.: SO/Pro/MO) remains as being $220 thru 2/28!

Purchased mine on-line yesterday and a higher price was noted in proceeding thru checkout, but then the lower price (i.e.: $220) was confirmed at final checkout, and confirmed by a followup e-mail received from APBA within seconds of payment. Same thing happened last year, and my telephone call to APBA provided an immediate answer. The fees paid matched the fees listed on the membership renewal app mailed out by APBA a few months (?) ago.

                  February 28 is THIS THURSDAY!
Thank you for starting this reminder thread.

Thanks Gerorge I tried. And then I get private messages saying I am trying to start trouble.. I was just trying to save folks some money by avoiding the late fees..

I really think that attitudes are helping kill the sport along with all the other stuff folks have brought up over the years
