Nbra schedule as of feb. 13

I'm posting this as of feb. 13th. We may have some of these races tentitive, but most of the races are firm. My hope is the gas goes down, because this is a full and great schedule. Testing may be possible on Friday, but please contact race director for conformation.

Alabama Race

What's up Doc? race team hopes this race gets off the ground. There will be some improvements to site. I understand it is on or near the Un. of Alabama's campus. I have talk to a number of South Carolina and North Carolina drivers that want to come to this event and there be more from Georga...Jason Summerall is working on this and we will be there if it flys..

This is on my schedule for this year. 1-CMR.

Lucas Oil

Several of us Wis/IN APBA driver's would really like to come out and race at Lucas Oil in June. We would be bringing some CSH's, and would probably be able to bring as many as 6 BSR's if they would put us on the schedule!

Montana Race

C stock Runabout

The Lucas Race is a ODA race so I can not say what the schedule will be like. I would think we can run up to eight boats in a heat on that course. We will have at least four C mod runabout. On that course, the pipes will not come in until your at the turn...I will predict that a stock C runabout will win that race because the stock has allot more low in punch. An y 80 with pipes is also a c mod motor. and we will have one of them at Lucas, called 350runabout in APBA. This has top in but not much horse power for the low in. You have to look out for your buddies and touch the buoys if you are on the inside...If you bring six B runabouts, we could run them as a special event...that makes you special..

We have a class for B hot rod runabouts, in our B runabout class. So you will definitely get to run. Check out racenbra.net for the class breakdown

We would be considered the "A" class as most of us have 15 ci Hot Rods. Some do have 20 ci'ers as well. Lots of talk about making this one!

12 races this year I guess folks have lots of choices.. If you get tired of the heat come north and cool off with us.. 100 degrees here is not like a 100 degrees there..
