We have some good sponsors and we put the fun back into racing. In otherwords, we managed to make backyard grass roots boat racing into a mainstream venue and still have fun !!

Dan, you want a piece of the pie ? I see Alan has a 44XS ready to race in DH. How about showing up and racing some ? Come to Lucas Oil Speedway. See how their sponsorship helps us grow. Youmight also see some other big name sponsors... but that is just rumors.

Come run for fun !!!! (but we pay you too)
Hey Dave I will be at the F1 PROP and NBRA Lucas Oil events :-) **Covering both events for HRTV no more racing for me :-)

      combination - elimination

Combinination will help - consolidation will help. But we need a moratorium on old eqipment. All of those ideas have been hashed. The only way that happens is to reduce the power of commissions.

APBA - should make any and all safety rules, not commissions

One tech committee should be formed of some very smart folks and all techincal motor changes should be made by that group with regard to power plants, parity, class combination and scheduled class elimination in the best interest of APBA.

Commissions do not possess the technical experitise to approve after market parts, radius dimensions, bore size etc.... and I have been on commissions.

Just read in Road & Track Magazine that the budgets for the top 4 teams in F1 is in excess of $500 Million per team per season. Kind of puts into perspective where boat racing is at. If they can raise that much, surely their must be ways that boat racing can share in that pie.
