Hated to heat the garage up for a little epoxy work. Good thing West System doesn't stink too much. Nobody noticed it's a runabout??
You know me Earl, am I nutty enough to race a runabout?
Still going to concentrate on CSH. Got a 302 for it.

I know. Scares me just watching the runabouts race! I'll give it a try.
Got an old Bezot rollover too, going to put my pit man Bobby in, see how he does.

Very cool but I am a bit jealous. You see, my wife loves me and she really supports my boat racing addiction, but if I ever brought my boat inside the house she would shoot me....and the boat too.

Rule number 1. Never, ever, teach your woman to use firearms! They have enough weapons.
Rule number 2. Always buy them presents. They are worth it, and us men couldn't survive with out them.
Rule number 3. Always agree with 'everything' they say.
Lynne is a Saint. She puts up with all my manly (ie childish) diversions.
My parents got married in October and dad fixed up his first boat that winter in the dinning room. Many years latter he bought a folding kayak at a garage sale. He called one of his friends (friends wife and my mother go grocery shopping) and he came up to figure out how it goes together. It took some time and doing to figure things out. But it did go together. This was done in the dinning room and living room. Now after all this work, taking it apart was not going to be an option. It is too long to turn corners to go out the front door. Next option remove the front window in the living room. As the boat is heading out the window, mom is returning from grocery shopping with her friend. As she turns into the driveway she asks her friend, was that a boat coming out of the living room window? The rest is history. Of course father like son, actually had dads help with this. The first motor that I restored was a 1924 Johnson A. Its first test firing was done Easter Sunday in the living room after the meal. Not one mosquito left living down stairs.
So, as I write this, my step mother is off on a 10 day vacation with her cousins, and my father, well he moved everything into the living room of the summer house and I hear that 3 new foo-lings will be appearing from the family room soon! He couldn't do it from the barn as no heat, and if he did from home, then well he might not have the evidence cleaned up in time.
When it comes to boat racing and the wife, it's easier to ask for forgiveness than it is permission, and of course I spent a number of nights sleeping on the couch!
