I thought these had been posted but I cant locate them. Does anyone have the race dates for 2013 and which races do not allow open pipes in region ten SOA and CORA..
2013 region 10 outboard race schedule (conducting club in parentheses):
May 4/5: castle rock, wa (Soa)
May 18/19: Bremerton, wa (Soa)
May 25/26: newberg, or (newberg boat club)
June 1: Everett wa (Soa)
June 29/30: seaside, or (Cora)
July 13/14: Tacoma, wa (Soa)
August 24/25: eatonville, wa (Soa)
Sept. 7/8: Moses lake, wa (Soa)
Sept. 20/21/22: yelm, wa (Soa)
Oct. 5/6: Lincoln city, or kilos (Cora)
no "megaphone" exhaust at Cullaby Lake (Seaside, Or)....... Eatonville and Yelm no "megaphone" classes run before noon....
if there is a race/races you plan to attend, contact ME and I will make sure they are scheduled and able to run, but can pretty much guarantee CMH, DMH, FEH will be on the schedule at all races they are allowed.....if there are not enough DMH's to run alone, they will be combined with the FEH's....
We are trying to figure out what we want to do next year..Want to race but the politics has got us down.. At least now all of a sudden we have 4 new 2013 calanders so we can work on a plan..Thanks again Daren

ain't no politics in Reg10..............we just race and do lots of it!!!!!!!!!!
Thats what we want..time to get out of the 20 year old feud..
We have done Eatonville 4 times and like that set up..What other race has a set up like that or close to it at least for motorhome camping..
only Kitsap, Tacoma (Little American Lake) and Silver Lake Everett (one day race, no camping allowed) do not have direct motorhome camping right near the waterfront........

Ok thanks Daren..Now we just have to pick and I will let you know what we decide..Depending on what happens this weekend we will make a decision on our next season..May take a year off or a very limited schedule
Ok this weekend we need to figure out our vacation schedule.. We need suggestions for a place we can get our motorhome and race trailer into..The unit is 60 feet long.. We have been told Castle Rock (to small), Silver Lake (to small and no camping) Everett, and Newberg (no pipies) are out.. Any other suggestions? Forgot also Lawrence is out ( kicked out with service dog last time)..

Newberg (pipes ARE allowed......river race) and Moses Lake both have plenty of room and are both concrete pit areas...........Silver Lake Eatonville and Lake Lawrence (dogs are allowed at the outboard race at the country club in the fall, not allowed at the park we race with the inboards in the spring, but no 750 class at the inboard race) both enough room, grass/dirt pit areas.........all those races 750 WILL be raced for sure.....and all easily accessible for the 75ft long rig we bring..

Besides Eatonville, which is the greatest race ever You should definitely try to make it to Newberg. The history of the place is amazing in itseld, we've been racing there for something like 60 years. It is also the place with the largest spectator crowd we draw, which also makes it scpecial. I also have to admit that every Sunday (memorial day) morning when they put the wreath in the river and Annie sings her song I get pretty choked up.

Newberg is a really fun family race. Some don't like the unknowns that come with a river course but that's what makes Newberg unique (at least for me). The boat launch area is closed just for racers and their families. There is enough room that lots of folks have a pit area (closer to the ramp) and a separate motorhome spot along the grass/tree line. The bonfire/party on Saturday night is really special. Old/broken/retired boats are given an almost magical send off to hydro heaven with racers, friends and the community in attendance. Being a holiday weekend race is nice for long-distance folks also. Some even stay Sunday night and get a fresh start for home Monday (Memorial Day).
Newberg is the home race for Jason & Jimmy Williams. Mark Allen and Dale Bartley attend Newberg also with their mods. We have a long time racer Jim King from Vancouver who is making a return this year. He bought Cheney's (twin sister to the William's) Apel from Mike VanAusdale. Jim has some really cool DMOD stuff from 20 years ago that he is excited to hear run again. Daren's hard work (along with many others) to allow the Tohatsu to be a legal motor this year should insure 750 to be one of the most exciting of the weekend.

Newberg is also the home race for Lee. Machined Components is only a few miles from the race site. As many Montana Racecrafts as you build, picking up Lee's cool stuff in person at the race site can save on shipping.
I was at Lee's shop a few days ago. He has a "BRAND NEW" product he's just finished. Wait until you see it....
