    COR Boats in SoCal

I'm not sure where your four races are planned, but maybe the Tri Hulls from Texas, which put on a great show, would be able to make your races. We have a growing number of COR racers in SoCal who might consider coming Oklahoma to race..

    Just an FYI...

Also, some of our COR teams have AXS and A Hydros...that could piggyback with our COR BOATS...

      NBRA racing

J and Ax boats are welcome. We run the J and Ax classes with the Novice class. The A APBA class runs with the A class which is the old 20 Apba class.. If we have three they are scored separately, but run together. We start our races around 12;30pm and finish at five. We have a full day with Mod. classes and like to finish at five. Most of our money is paid in tow and some in prizes.

        Tow & prize money

Looks like after all is said and done their will be in excess of $50000.00 paid out at NBRA races in 2013 after expenses. Not to shabby!

            Ron,

Check out the NBRA website for rules. We don't have a place for the Tri-Hulls in a normal sanctioned event. However, if you put on some NBRA events out there in your region, you could simply put it on as a special event sanctioned by the NBRA. Right now the program we have runs smooth, allows for plenty of testing in the mornings, and a full afternoon of boat racing, ending early evening as Art said. We run primairly Stock & Mod kneel down hydros with a few brave souls running laydown boats. Who knows, maybe the laydown boats will increase this year. Time will tell.

The program we run works real well right now, attracts sponsors, and best of all attracts spectators. Most places generate enough income from the spectators (within the city) and racers to offset the sponsorship. Right now, it is real hard to change a formula that is working by adding anything new.

Ron if you come to the NBRA race in Trout Creek you will see a lot of Laydown boats.. I guess we are either brave or lazy or both.. I remember a Mid west NBRA friend say "I have never seen so many laydowns"..

It is nice to have time to enjoy the whole day at a race..Testing, race and still have lots of time to shoot the fat and party and still not have to take out a bank loan to afford it

As ome of you know we have built up AXS and A Hydro is SoCal to over 12 boats. I was thinking it might be "FUN" to plan to race on of these OK races...I own a four boat trailer and and 8 boat trailer, so we could haul a few boats.

SOCal has like one race all summer, so I was hoping to maybe get the COR Boats on the water in OK, also!

#9 IN MY BAKER COR BOAT, I HAVE A MIRAGE AND ALSO. I THOUGHT WE COULD MAYBE GET 6-8 COR'S TO TRAVEL....But maybe you don't need us!
