"D" Runabout 1959, Long Beach Marine Stadium

While I got Bill Boyes' blood pressure up.......LOL.

This was my first "D" Runabout race, the Divisional 1959. Deck Hogan is 94-O and John Soto is in third in the black "Hal Kelly".

I don't know if John Soto is still alive, I know Deck is gone.....

Bill may want to shed some light on this race.......

That SOB John Soto. I beat his ass at this race and he said I chopped him. Hallet DQ'D me. My Dad almost came to blows with Soto as did I. The most dirty driver I ever raced against. picture to follow. I got even at the Modesto Nationals. I beat his butt Bad in DSR.
