At the Nationals in Grass Lake we were fortunate to witness a closed course zig zag marathon that was outstanding!
We were also fortunate to compete in the Yamato Challenge.
The Yamato challenge was a great concept and sure saw a great mix of drivers teaming up and paying the $10 entry fees to compete.
My son Joe and Jake Alkema teamed up with their C rigs and really enjoyed the challenge. They also enjoyed being the youngest team.
Joe and I still light up when we discuss it.
Ryan Runne summed it up the best when asked if he enjoyed it "That was worth a $100 entry fee!!"
What about Jesse Swain ROCKIN THE 110-J IN THE LEAD? That was spectacular!
Did anyone else enjoy it as much as we did?
Are there any clubs planning on doing this in the future?
