It was no surprise the Rick Miller did well at the Mod. Natls., but a big surprise when he won over came George Luce's 30 Merc. in the C Mod. Runabout. George Luce has been dominate in the C runabout with his Terry Witham's Merc. It had found the podium many times. Rick dove a Yamato 302 and a Autlalight boat to his first win in the C. With wins in the 400 runabout(B) and a win in the highly competive C hydro(B&H) and two seconds in 350 hydro and 400 hydro, he won the Bill Bracken award as the high point driver of the weekend. The What's up Doc? Race Team of Jake Perryman, Chelsea Perryman, Braxton Miller, Layton Owen, Charley Holman and Doc Miller were working hard to get his five entries on the water.

"Doc" Miller was the dominator of the weekend. About his win in CMR , the spelling of the boat builder needs correction. It is Arltralite...as in Matt Arlt. The price of materials has stalled his production ,but he will still build boats.
