Hey Jim, if Alan won't entertain you, I'll put you to work at the judges stand. I'm in need of constant supervision. Looking forward to seeing you. Jack

          E Powerhead

I beleive someone is getting a new Doug Kay E power head. I think it will be delivered at Centralia. Doug also finished our new E engine and if I'm lucky to get all the sticks back together we will run it. Post photos from the other machine.

Well... Things are not FORSURE. But it seems likely that I will be there. To watch the racing at least. So... If anyone wants a driver for something, I may be able to run some laps for ya. I'll bring my driving gear just in case.

If you need me to bring anything to help you finish up repairs on the boat let me know, I will do what I can. I have wood and West, Carbon fiber, kevlar, Glass, and beer.

                  Thanks Dave

We will start putting the boat together tonight. Have all the wood from David and the west showed up a little bit ago. Have a new fine made and hope we don't find other issues. Backup plan is to use the Ropp if we need to. Also thanks for your help at Lucas. Went over the bost yesterday and the main beam and cowl will be the hardest.

                  Alan

PS: I will let you know if we need anything.

Dave, make sure you have enough of the most important item.......BEER!

Alan, I can attest to Dave's ability to building boats you couldn't find anyone better in my honest opinion. Good luck to everyone wish I could go!

That is one nice looking engine..Nice enough to go in a museum but too nice to race with..

As for the repairs with enough beer it will be safe and functional but maybe not the nicest looking boat in the fleet

                        making progress

As it looks now we will be there with 1 3/4 boats and should run C, D and E MOB on our Montana Race Craft. I ordered a wing because we might also try to run the four carb E.

Dave M are you out there..I was wondering if you thought a MRC nose would work on Alans boat..If so I would try to make one in this heat and bring it with me..Hopefully I can keep the resin from going off in the cup.. Just a thought since you have seen the boat and know what our nose is like
